I skipped my high school prom, and thus far in my life have managed to completely escape having to wear a tuxedo. With my wedding fast approaching, I don’t think I’ll get out of it this time. Do I rent one or buy one? What about my groomsmen? How do I pick a style? It truly sounds like there’s no escaping a tux for your wedding, if it’s going to be a formal affair. But breathe easy; selecting a tuxedo is still far less work and less money than your fiancée is enduring to get the perfect dress!
The date has been set, and you’re in the midst of planning the perfect wedding. Traditionally, the wedding spotlight is on the bride but we do not want to incur the wrath of the mother in law by forgetting about the groom. To assist in the planning of groom’s wardrobe and of the other male guests, ExecStyle.com has developed some useful guidelines to alleviate the stress of garment selection.
Specialists will have a large variety of current styles to choose from. Not ones that date back to the 1980’s. They will know to advise you that button covers and mandarin collared shirts have gone the way of ruffles and powder blue and orange tuxedos. They will have designer tuxedos and accessories, as well as styles made by lesser-known manufacturers. Knowledgeable specialists will know that the color of choice for a tuxedo as we speak is black, but as the new line-up is being previewed, shades of gray and navy will be trying to make a comeback.
It is refreshing to notice that men actually do care about their looks and want to look their best for special occasions. A wedding ceremony is one of those events you’ll want to look like a million dollars.
